Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Carpenter (Red Seal Carpenter) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and finish carpentry, with a focus on renovations and new custom home builds projects. Responsibilities:
- Perform various carpentry tasks, including framing, structural work, and finishing carpentry.
- Other duties include demolition, site prep, drywall, taping, painting, floor install and smaller tile jobs.
- Work independently on site, effectively managing time and budgets.
- Maintain excellent communication with the site supervisor and office team.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and a problem-solving approach.
- Contribute to a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Carpenter certification
- Proven experience in framing and structural carpentry.
- Experience in renovation and new custom home build projects is a significant asset
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and think creatively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (truck preferred)
- Own set of professional carpentry tools
