Halifax Water is hiring for the job of IS Application Administrator. This is a regular opportunity in the Engineering and Technology Services Department and has full-time hours and is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
As an IS Application Administrator, you will:

Be responsible for the installation, configuration, support and maintenance of Halifax Water's IT Applications.

The primary area of focus will be ERP, predominantly Cayenta.
To do this job, you need to have:
-
Post-secondary diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology
-
Five years of experience as an application administrator
-
ERP experience is an asset
-
Cayenta experience is an asset
-
Hands on experience with the following:
-
Microsoft Window Operating System environments,
-
Knowledge of application data privacy practices and laws,
-
Familiarity with the fundamental principles of ITIL,
-
Experience with the administration of business applications,
-
ITIL Certification (or willing to obtain with 6 months of being hired)

Certification in one of the following:
-
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
-
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
-
Microsoft Certified SharePoint Administrator
-
Equivalent certifications or experience may be considered
-
A valid NS driver's license and access to reliable transportation
