The Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Grocery Retail Merchandiser who is responsible for ensuring that products in retail stores are displayed attractively, stocked properly, and priced correctly to maximize sales. They monitor inventory levels, arrange product displays, and work closely with store staff and suppliers to maintain an organized and appealing shopping environment. Strong organizational skills are essential for this role.
You’ll need to be able to stand for extended periods, bending, lifting, and arranging products. Also, you may need to travel between multiple store locations. As this is a full-time position, you’ll need to be flexible during seasonal peaks, promotional events, and store opening hours. You may also need to work some early morning, evening, or weekend shifts. Retail Merchandiser for this area will report directly to our Operations Manager on a daily/weekly basis.
Job Details

- Starting Salary:$40,000 annually

Key Responsibilities
· Arrange and maintain product displays according to company guidelines and promotional plans.
· Ensure shelves are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
· Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or overstock issues.
· Ensure shelf tags are present and promotional signage is accurate.
· Rotate products to maintain freshness and prevent expired items (if applicable).
· Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff.
· Conduct regular store visits to ensure merchandising standards are met.
· Set up promotional displays and seasonal merchandise where necessary.
· Ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards.
· Submit store pictures of displays & perform shelf audits on a regular basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or retail is an asset).
· Previous retail or merchandising experience preferred.
· Understanding of retail operations and inventory management helpful.
· Ability to work independently, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to lift and move merchandise when setting displays.
· Attention to detail and visual presentation skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
· A valid driver's license and travel with reliable transportation for multi-store coverage is required.
