Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Camp Director to oversee the successful operation of our summer camp program in. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for campers, and leading a team of staff and volunteers. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on youth development while demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills. The Camp Director will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for campers and fostering a welcoming community atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily camp schedules, activities, and special events that promote fun, learning, and personal growth.
- Supervise and support staff, including counselors and activity leaders, ensuring high standards of safety, engagement, and professionalism.
- Manage the camp budget, including supplies, equipment, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and community organizations to enhance program offerings.
- Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders regarding camp policies, schedules, and camper progress.
- Lead staff training sessions on camper safety, activity facilitation, and customer service.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and evaluation of camp staff.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and positive relationships among campers and staff.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams in a youth or educational setting.
- Proven skills in budgeting and resource management to ensure efficient use of financial and material resources.
- Experience in teaching or facilitating activities that promote learning, creativity, or physical development.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
