Winnipeg’s full-service hotel, Best Western Premier Winnipeg East, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Guest Services Team full-time.

About the Position
Our Guest Services Agents are the service ambassadors of our property, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional hospitality from check-in to check-out. This is a permanent full-time role that requires morning, evening, and weekend availability to meet business needs. The role reports directly to the Duty Manager and Front Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, register, and check guests in and out of guestrooms efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Take same-day and future reservations, handle cancellations/modifications, and process confirmations.
- Coordinate closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Use upselling and persuasive sales techniques to maximize revenue.
- Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and dining recommendations.
- Respond to guest concerns and resolve complaints courteously and effectively.
- Handle payments, process check-outs, and ensure proper cash/credit handling procedures.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, appearance, and confidentiality.
- Stay updated on hotel activities, meetings, and package plans.
- Promote superior customer care through courteous, helpful, and friendly service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Knowledge of property management systems (Opera or similar) an asset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Cash handling and basic math/computer skills required.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of Winnipeg and surrounding areas an asset.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to excellent guest service.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.
Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour
