Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver an authentic Montessori CASA program for children aged 3–6 years.
- Create a stimulating, child-centered classroom that promotes independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
- Foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through the Montessori philosophy.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the school community.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and school policies.
- Support licensing visits and collaborate professionally with Ministry officials when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
- Implement emergency procedures and maintain all required classroom documentation.
Qualifications
- CASA Montessori Diploma from an AMI or MACTE-accredited training program.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to the Montessori philosophy and methodology.
- Previous experience working with the CASA (3–6 years) age group.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
- Flexible to work between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as scheduled.
Required Certifications
- Montessori CASA Certification/Experience
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
