KTI Utility Services is excited to introduce a new Warehouse Lead position on our new Strathcona Project! If you have experience managing a warehouse, and are a self-driven independent worker, then this opportunity for you.
The purpose of this position is to meet the goals and objectives of KTI Utility Services while providing customers (external & internal) with a positive experience. The Warehouse Lead is expected to contribute and perform as a knowledgeable and effective member of the team. The Lead is responsible for executing all assigned tasks within the agreed upon timeline.

What would your day look like as a Warehouse Associate at KUS?
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, ship)
- Receive and process DC replenishment stock products
- Report any discrepancies to Project Manager and identify opportunities for improvement
- Operate and maintain DC equipment preventively
- Assisting with cycle count throughout the DC
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Ensure all assigned outbound & RMA shipments are accompanied with their respective shipping documents.
- Ensure all assigned inbound & RMA orders are fully received, checked and correctly updated in the system (NetSuite)
- Ensure inventory integrity
- Create shipping documents and packing orders according to customer requirements (Netsuite)
- Able to operate a hand scanner
- Assisting with basic repairs
- Coordinate loading and unloading of goods
- Scheduling and routing goods to be transported using UPS, LTL Carriers etc….
- Perform general housekeeping tasks within the DC
- Participate in assigned meetings and calls
- Identify opportunities for improvement (OFIs)
- Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Current forklift certification is considered an asset
- Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Familiar with Quality check product on inbound and outbound
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Must be able to work most of the day on your feet, lifting, bending, climbing ladders and sorting
