We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Toronto. In this role, you will report to the Vice-President of IT and will support the financial planning for strategic planning initiatives and day-to-day operations.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining various financial views of Oxford’s IT Portfolio and Services on a regular basis for various management levels (Executive, peers and other analysts)
  • Liaising with various departments (i.e. Financial, Business, OMERS IT) for IT related financial enquiries
  • Supporting the research, analysis, reporting and execution of IT initiatives
  • Assisting with the coordination and preparation of presentations and various materials for discussion at the executive level (VP-IT committees and meetings)
  • Providing financial guidance to business units on IT spend and budget planning guidelines
  • Assisting with special projects and analysis as required
To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate
  • Professional Accounting and/or CFA designation
  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience in an accounting, finance and/or strategy
  • Work experience in a real estate, private equity or investment banking firm in an accounting, investment or valuation capacity will be considered an asset
  • Work experience in an information technology capacity will be also be considered an asset
  • Strong Financial Modeling, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Experience using business intelligence software (Tableau/PowerBI) considered an asset
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple or competing deadlines
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
