Position: Forklift Operator (AZ/DZ Licensed)
Location: Brampton
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator with a valid AZ or DZ Driver's Licence to join our warehouse operations team in Brampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, handling materials safely, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting general warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming products.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization as required.
- Utilize an AZ or DZ licence when required for yard movements or operational support.
Requirements
- Valid AZ or DZ Driver's Licence.
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Valid forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Steel-toe safety footwear required.
