The Roasted Nut is a small cafe and nuttery located in the vibrant Queen Street West neighborhood. We are looking for an experienced full time barista with at least one year experience to serve delicious coffees and drinks to accompany our array of nuts that we roast in house here at our location. As we enter our busy summer season we are looking for someone with an outgoing personality to warmly greet our customers and remember the familiar faces.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffees with latte (latte, cappuccino, flat white and more) and tea beverages and our specialty nut butter lattes.
- Greet customers and take their orders, serve nut mixes.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop
- Assist with food preparation and handlingSkills:
- Latte art is a MUST
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
