Our client, a well-established and highly respected OEM dealership in the Hamilton area, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Parts Manager to lead their department.

We are looking for a professional who views the Parts Department not just as a warehouse, but as a high-performance engine for dealership profitability and customer satisfaction.
The Role
As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for the complete oversight of inventory, logistics, and personnel. You will work closely with the Service Department and the General Manager to maximize wholesale and retail growth while maintaining lean inventory turnover.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels to ensure high fill rates while minimizing obsolescence and aging stock.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and manage a team of counter staff and drivers to provide "Best-in-Class" service.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor department KPIs, including gross profit, net profit, and expenses.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute plans to expand the wholesale business within the Golden Horseshoe.
- Manufacturer Liaison: Maintain a strong relationship with the OEM to ensure compliance with branding and procurement standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Parts Management role within an OEM dealership setting.
- Import Preference: While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with a background in Import/Global brands (e.g., Japanese, European, or Korean OEMs) will be given priority.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with modern DMS platforms (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, or PBS) and inventory management software.
- Logistics Expert: Deep understanding of shipping/receiving workflows and regional wholesale logistics.
- Local Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Hamilton/Halton automotive market.
