Central Vaughan Animal Hospital is seeking a motivated animal-loving individual to join our team, who is passionate about helping animals and their owners. You will be responsible for helping clients by creating a welcoming environment, providing service information, answering telephone calls and returning e-mails, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and schedule appointments
- Provide information about the products and services
- Handling payment transactions
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update client interactions in Medical Records
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
- Assist Veterinarian with animal restraint and Medical Record updates during appointments (if needed)
- Following up with the clients regarding the patient's status after treatment provided
- Medical Record keeping and tracking
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a veterinary office, customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are an asset
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changes
- Willingness to expand knowledge and improve
Experience:
- Veterinary Receptionist 1 year (preferred)
- Receptionist 2 year (preferred)
- Customer Service (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
