YOU ARE:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Animator/Artist to join our dynamic casino game team. Technical Animator / Artist will bridge the gap between art and programming, ensuring the seamless integration of art assets into a game without sacrificing either creative vision or software performance. Responsibilities include processing, pipeline building, and performance optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate’s primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with art and engineering teams to develop and implement technical solutions for art-related challenges
- Create and maintain tools and pipelines for art asset creation, optimization, and integration
- Provide technical guidance to animation and art on software, hardware, and workflows
- Ensure art assets meet technical requirements and performance standards
- Pre-visualization, animation and asset implementation and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art production and integration
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in art and technology
- Assist in the development and implementation of new art-related features and processes
- Collaborate with QA team to ensure art-related bugs are identified and resolved in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify for the position, the successful candidate must possess the following skills:
- Experience in game development or animation industry
- Demonstrate strong understanding of animation basics and art fundamentals
- Ability to create and implement 2D effects with After Effects, Photoshop and Spine.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to art assets and pipeline
- Proficiency in Unity / Cocos Creator and Spine Animation
- Strong Photoshop and After effects skills.
- 3D Software Packages, Maya, Studio Max or Blender is an asset.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C++ is an asset.
