Job Summary

Adastra's Nova Consultants are new and recent graduates who are early in their career yet embody enormous potential. They are on a journey of building professional experience in Information Management that is empowered by passion, drive and dedication. In this entry-level position, Nova Consultants start their training at Adastra’s corporate office. After orientation and extensive training, consultants are placed on a client project once a suitable opportunity is available. Adastra consultants work onsite at our clients’ locations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Work with a team of Adastra consultants to complete data warehouse and business intelligence projects that incorporate requirements gathering, logical and physical data models including metadata, source system data analysis, source-to-target data mapping analysis and design; as well as ETL development and quality assurance. Consultants at Adastra fill a variety of different roles with our clients, however, this entry-level position is tailored toward hands-on technical work.

Qualifications and Skills

Computer Science/Computer Engineering degree, or equivalent technical background
Proficiency with SQL; knowledge of other programming languages would be an asset
IT development background
Ability to present complex subjects and alternatives in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within an organization
Previous experience in data warehousing and business intelligence would be an asset
Must be eligible to work in Canada and/or the US depending on the job location
