This 12-month internship role will support the Loblaw Technology HR Team based out of our Corporate Head Office at 1 President Choice Circle in Brampton and in the interim based virtually. The Recruitment Coordinator will report to the HR Director and support end-to-end recruitment initiatives .
What You’ll Do & Learn:
Posting all open roles for the Technology organization across all our job boards – internal and external.
Book interviews with prospective candidates.
Generate offer letters for our successful candidates.
Initiate background checks with our third-party provider.
Complete ready for hire and on-boarding activities to ensure Day 1 Productivity.
Assist Director with research, analysis and implementation of programs, reports and projects as required.
What You'll Need:
Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources Management.
Previous work experience with Workday – approval workflow, reporting, and recruitment module would be a nice to have.
Advanced computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) including: VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills along with a proactive mindset.
Customer focused and able to nurture positive customer relationships while maintaining exceptional commitment to service with a strong sense of urgency.
Highly motivated, self-starter, requiring little direction.
Travel is required to various office locations – 243 Consumers Road and Lakeshore & Bathurst once return to office recommences.
