Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer/Framer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to building projects through hands-on work, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety at every stage. As a key team member, you will be involved in framing, material handling, and assisting with various construction tasks that bring building visions to life. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute framing and other tasks
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and related restoration work to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishing components with precision
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting and material movement to support team productivity on-site
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, woodwork assembly, and structural modifications
- Follow safety protocols diligently, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or related hands-on work in building environments is highly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of concrete forming, drywall installation, siding, and woodworking techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
