Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and high-quality service
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
- Follow all safety protocols related to cooking equipment and kitchen operations
- Support meal preparation during peak hours to meet customer demand efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with serving guests in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Experience with food handling, meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
