We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive IT and ERP Administrator to support our organization, maintain our technology systems, and assist with the administration of our ERP platforms, including Epicor and Spire.
Position Summary
The IT and ERP Administrator will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, supporting employees with technical issues, maintaining system security, managing user accounts, and supporting the smooth operation of the company’s ERP systems.
This position will serve as a key IT resource for the company and will play an important role in strengthening cybersecurity, improving system performance, supporting ERP users, and helping departments use technology more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support and System Administration
Provide technical support to employees across all departments.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Administer Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user accounts.
Manage user access, permissions, password policies, and security settings.
Maintain IT asset inventories, software licenses, warranties, and IT documentation.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access changes, and equipment preparation.
Cybersecurity and Risk Management
Monitor and maintain cybersecurity measures, antivirus protection, firewalls, backups, and software updates.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, phishing attempts, suspicious emails, and cybersecurity concerns.
Implement IT security best practices and help ensure compliance with company policies.
Provide basic cybersecurity awareness and training to employees.
Network and Infrastructure Management
Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and internet connectivity.
Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate with external IT service providers, software vendors, and internet providers when required.
Ensure data backup and recovery processes are functioning properly.
ERP System Administration
Support and administer the company’s ERP systems, including Epicor and Spire.
Assist users with ERP-related questions, access issues, troubleshooting, and basic system support.
Set up and maintain user accounts, roles, permissions, and access levels within ERP systems.
Work with departments to understand ERP system needs and help improve system usage.
Support data accuracy, reporting, workflow improvements, and system updates.
Coordinate with ERP vendors or consultants for technical support, upgrades, and issue resolution when required.
Assist with ERP-related training, documentation, and internal process improvements.
Business Systems Support
Assist departments with technology-related projects and system improvements.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, security, and business operations.
Support integration between IT systems, ERP platforms, and other business tools where required.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, technical support, ERP administration, or a related role.
Experience with ERP systems is required; experience with Epicor and Spire is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Experience with Windows operating systems, networking, cloud technologies, and user management.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support users across different departments.
A valid driver’s license is considered an asset.
