K9 Kate’s is an established, 5 star, dog walking company located in downtown Toronto. Our team includes walkers and trainers that have been with us for 8 years and counting, and some of the nicest clients around. We provide group walks and private walks, training, boarding and puppy visits, and are seeking new staff members to assist with offleash walks around The Annex, Yorkville and Summerhill. You are paid per dog. You must have a vehicle for this position.
You must meet the following requirements:
Be punctual and reliable. Days are short but they run like clockwork.
Have the ability to work under intense conditions (e.g., weather, physical challenges, fast-paced).
No criminal record.
Live in close proximity to downtown Toronto.
Be both an animal and people person. Our clients (two-legged and four-legged) are treated like family
Have professional or volunteer experience handling dogs that has preferably been positive reinforcement only.
Be available to work T-F between the hours of 10-2
Be comfortable in a dog park and have a vehicle.
Have 5 years of general work experience. We are not accepting applicants without this requirement so please be mindful when applying.
Compensation is per dog and is based on experience. Walkers that take on full days/full days and board earn $3-$5k+/month depending on the amount of work they take.
We are looking to start someone part time and bring them to full time in September.
