Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on driving skills, vehicle upkeep, and maintaining a professional and customer service centered attitude. Responsibilities
- Safely operate DZ licensed vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues that arise during transit.
- Assist with warehouse or loading dock activities as needed, including heavy lifting and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, especially DZ trucks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual handling tasks.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward clients and team members.
