Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering a positive dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Previous restaurant or barista experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the food service sector.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety and hygiene practices
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling orders and maintaining station cleanliness
- Serve customers efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining spaces, and equipment
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Manage cash register operations and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts
Experience
- Prior experience in restaurant or food industry roles is preferred but not required
- Experience in customer service or serving is highly desirable
- Barista experience or background in hospitality can be advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, service, and safety regulations
