Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties
- Greet customers promptly and courteously at the counter or drive-thru.
- Prepare and assemble food orders according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Assist in food handling tasks, adhering to proper sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain proper sanitation standards.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or the food industry is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability is a plus.
