8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday
Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
The main role of this position is to streamline the work of the VP. It ensures the establishment and supervision of harmonized administrative practices for the entire. The incumbent is asked to evaluate the existing methods and procedures and to develop new ones or to make recommendations for modifications to relieve the incumbent or improve the operation of the sector. The nature of daily work exposes the incumbent to work in a context where processes and functions change frequently. It must adapt to a changing environment and adjust its work accordingly. The incumbent must be prepared to act on his recommendations and be in a position to put them into effect.
High School Diploma or General Studies Diploma (D.E.G.);
Post-secondary training recognized as secretarial or office technology (two-year program);
Any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant and equivalent could be considered;
Five (5) years of experience in an administrative secretary position, two (2) of which executive secretary; experience in the health is an asset;
Extensive knowledge of and ability to use computer tools and office automation applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Meditech, Outlook);and a very great easy in the Windows environment;
Above average writing ability;
Demonstrate a great deal of autonomy in organizing meetings by developing agendas, carrying out the work required to obtain and consolidate the necessary documentation, taking notes and writing the minutes of the meeting. and ensuing follow-up;
To be able to perform high quality work efficiently despite frequent interruptions and in situations that generate tension;
Have a great sense of responsibility and a high degree of autonomy;
Be tactful in interpersonal relationships and have good teamwork skills;
Have strong organizational skills, analysis, problem solving and good judgment;
Have a great capacity for planning, organizing, prioritizing time management and meeting deadlines;
Have demonstrated the following personal qualities: leadership, initiative and creativity, adaptability to change and positive attitude;
Be flexible in working hours;
Adhere to the principles of professional ethics (hospitality, decorum, confidentiality), the philosophy of management and the values of the Vitalité Health Network, including the respect of confidentiality rules;
Ability to work independently and as a team member;
Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
Written and spoken knowledge of English and French is required.
