Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Manage the bar area efficiently, including inventory control, cleanliness, and organization.
- Utilize POS systems to process orders accurately and handle transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards during food handling.
- Assist with banquet service and catering events as needed, showcasing versatility in various dining settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Uphold the establishment's standards of hospitality while promoting sales through upselling techniques.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling in the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in catering or banquet service is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
