Job Description
Croway Inc. is looking for an organized and reliable Container Dispatcher to join our growing team. The successful candidate will coordinate container movements, communicate with drivers and customers, and ensure deliveries and pickups are completed safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch drivers for container pickups and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments with ports, terminals, and customers.
- Monitor driver progress and provide updates.
- Communicate with drivers regarding delays and route changes.
- Track containers and ensure on-time service.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
- Work closely with the safety and operations teams.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous dispatch or transportation experience preferred.
- Experience with container/port operations is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with dispatch software is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
