Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant and Trainee to join our team. Duties
- Assist senior mechanics with routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of machinery and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision
- Learn to identify mechanical issues through visual inspection and diagnostic techniques
- Support in the disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during work activities
- Document work performed and assist with inventory management of tools and parts
Experience
- Prior experience in mechanical work or related field is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Must have some tools to work with
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment is mandatory
- Strong willingness to learn new skills and develop technical expertise
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
