We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and results-driven sales professional to join our Advance Planning team.
This position is ideal for someone with a proven track record in insurance, financial services, real estate, senior services, or other consultative sales environments who is looking for a meaningful career helping families prepare for the future.
This is not a retail or customer service position. We are looking for a professional who can build trust, communicate effectively, and confidently guide families through important planning decisions.
Responsibilities
- Meet with individuals and families to discuss funeral and cremation planning options
- Educate clients on the benefits of planning ahead
- Conduct appointments, presentations, and community outreach activities
- Follow up on leads and referrals
- Build lasting relationships within the community
- Achieve sales goals while maintaining the highest ethical standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commissioned sales experience preferred
- Proven sales success and strong closing skills are required
- Experience in insurance, financial planning, real estate, senior services, or related consultative sales is strongly preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Funeral industry experience and/or funeral service licensing is an asset but not required.
