Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation systems
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for system installation and repair
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed
- Weld components or parts during installation or repair processes
- Service boilers and other mechanical equipment associated with HVAC systems
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and techniques
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and system performance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all tasks
- Collaborate with construction teams or other trades when necessary for system integration
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems installation and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair is preferred
- Mechanical or mechanic experience in construction or maintenance environments is advantageous
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently
- Knowledge of schematics interpretation for electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or within a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
