Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs, while ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent hospitality throughout their visit.
- Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates.
- Assist customers in making informed decisions by understanding their preferences and needs.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring efficient check-out experiences.
- Upsell products by promoting special deals and new arrivals to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including product displays and inventory management.
- Handle heavy lifting of product shipments and restock shelves as needed.
- File necessary documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively serve multiple customers simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and regulations is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
