Position: General Labourer

Pay: $24.00/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Description
We are currently hiring a General Labourer for a construction project in Hastings, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have construction experience, be physically capable of performing demanding work, and follow all workplace safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with surface preparation, including cleaning and grinding concrete floors.
- Move and organize materials, equipment, and supplies around the worksite.
- Assist the project team with general construction and labour tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Load, unload, and handle materials as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project leads.
- Follow all site safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working on construction sites and handling materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Valid WHMIS certification required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Pay: $24.00 per hour
