Our busy and growing Cosmetic Surgical practice requires an Administrative Assistant/Medical Office Administrator with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our team of professionals. Experience in a pay-for-service medical or dental office is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Ensure all phone and email inquiries are answered promptly and/or referred to the appropriate person
- Book and reschedule patient appointments using Accuro EMR
- Ensure all patient information on file is up to date
- Greet arriving patients in a pleasant and helpful manner
- Call all patients to remind them of their upcoming appointments
- Preparing quotations for surgery and cosmetic services and presenting to patients
- Process payments
- Oversee the waiting room and maintain patient flow
- Scan documents into patient charts and maintain accurate record
- Scheduling in-office Surgery at AestheteMD
- Scheduling of all necessary pre and post-operative visits
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in administrative/ medical office environment
- Diploma in office administration preferred
- Bilingual (English and French) preferred
- Accuro EMR experience a strong asset
- Interest in the Surgical and Medical Aesthetics industry
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with good problem-solving ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French language an asset
- Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook Knowledge of Adobe, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new computer systems and software with ease. A proficiency in Windows Office, Electronic Health Records, and POS retail systems is an asset
