Role:
We're seeking a shipper/receiver candidate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to accurately manage incoming and outgoing inventory. The ideal candidate should have experience with shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with relevant software and equipment. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are also essential for coordinating with suppliers and addressing any issues that arise.

Ensure that all loads are counted and accurately shipped

Load trucks in a safe and orderly manner according to route, ensuring load is properly secured and on schedule

Ensure orders are received according to Standard Operating procedures.

Ensure orders are picked and palletized according to customer requirements.

Ensure excellent knowledge of all products (packaging skids, etc.)

Ensure all paperwork is shipping/receiving filled out correctly and incompliance with corporate procedures

Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels

Must be certified to operate forklift, electric jack, and high reach jack.

Must have experience in Shipping/ Receiving.

Must be able to work in coolers and freezers at all times.

Must be experienced in shipping receiving.

Clean work record in all respects (no disciplinary issues).

Good attendance and be punctual.

Must be able to work in a neat, organized and efficient manner.

Must be capable of following all HACCP & GMP standard operating procedures and accurately document & receive all shipments.

Able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently to coordinate, respond and communicate with external customers, and in-house warehouse personnel in a respectful manner ensuring the business needs are met and delivered.

Familiar with Lower Mainland and Alberta regions in order to properly set up truck diagrams . Responsible for the effective and efficient utilization of internal and external carriers (contact, direction, load, organization).

Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Physically fit to do demanding tasks repeatedly on rotation.

High school education or better.

Strong team player or work independently when required.

Reliable transportation.

First Aid Level 2 certificate would be an advantage/ preferred.

Experience with RF equipment.
