The impact you'll make
As a Product Manager, Marketplace-Seller Experience, you will be helping us grow into one of Canada’s largest marketplaces. You’ll own all aspects of improving the digital experience for our Sellers, this encompasses the end-to-end user journey from: discovery to onboarding to product promotions to order management & order fulfillment. You're joining at a key juncture to make our marketplace one of the top selling channels for eCommerce retailers in Canada. You will not only contribute to the success of your team but to the overall success of Loblaw Digital.
What you'll do
Define & execute a roadmap for growing & optimizing our Seller Portal product for our Marketplace Sellers taking into consideration their problems, business strategy & organizational dependencies. You’ll lead all integrations for our Seller Portal from evaluating the opportunity to exploring solutions, taking new features to market. You will also manage existing vendor integrations working closely with our contracts, privacy & security teams, and manage the external relationships.
You’ll spend time in the market understanding our seller customers’ problems, using research (customer & competitors), and data. You’ll define KPIs and use data to inform your decisions.
Day-to-day collaboration with your partners across technology, design, business, marketing, and operations to define solutions, and deliver results.
You’ll own the backlog, including prioritization and execution
You’ll measure the impact of what you ship & share learnings widely.
Does this sound like you?
1-2+ years of technical product management experience in the full product lifecycle from problem discovery, planning, execution to launch with 3-5 years of working experience in a software development environment
You are technical enough, you understand how to read API documentation, and engage with technical teams and with external vendors.
You understand that you are in charge of the problem, and our engineering team is in charge of how it is built
Your number one priority is to deliver value to customers, and measuring results. Learning is the name of your game.
You are always driving to the big picture, even while worrying about the details
You drive collaboration, knowing it is the key to building successful products
You embrace pragmatism: you can be creative around working within limitations to get the job done
You are a clear communicator, able to explain technical needs to a non-technical audience and vice-versa
You look hard problems in the eye and figure out how to solve them
Solid understanding of agile & lean startup approaches to product management
Experience in SaaS or marketplaces products preferred
