Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation, uphold food safety standards, and assist with basic meal service tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food and meal preparation, including ingredient handling and setup.
- Support kitchen staff with food safety and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Help with serving food during busy periods as needed.
- Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, and ingredients to ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is a plus.
- Basic cooking skills or experience in meal preparation are advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
