Support WOME sub-Cross Product Team (CPT) through regularly scheduled meetings

Work with Industry to ensure Ship Class Explosive Safety Report is completed

Analyzes ammunition safety information

Evaluates ammunition handling equipment

Supports Ammunition Operability Statements.
What you bring to the role
- Degree or diploma in computer, electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering, BSc related applied sciences, naval architecture and/or combined Combat Systems Engineering experience

Five to eight years of professional experience

Demonstrated leadership skills

Strong teamwork skills
-
Strong communication skills
-
Ability to prioritize competing demands

Must be able to obtain North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret security clearance.
Additional skills desired for the role
- Deep understanding of Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) Ammunition certification processes

Experience in the Military Naval domain

Knowledge of shipboard ammunition stowage and transfer

Knowledge of shipboard ammunition stewardship

Experience with IBM Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), Windchill and the Collective Environment (CE) is considered an asset

Experience in Safety and Certification of Naval vessels

Experience with performing requirements analysis

Reviewing requirements, requirements allocation, and trade studies

Design, trials, test, and certification documentation

Following systems engineering processes and best practices

$95,000 - $124,500
