We are seeking a Women’s Locker Room Attendant to join our facilities team. This position reports to the Locker Room Supervisor.
This attendant is an extremely important front-line staff member whose role is to help ensure the club’s female members and guests are as comfortable as possible when using the women’s locker room, card room, and lounge.
The position is part-time (two days a week), with additional shifts as needed for coverage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the restaurant service staff to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our members in the card room and the lounge.
- Being present and ready to serve during off-season bridge sessions.
- Replenishing toiletries, towels, beverages, snacks and other amenities and supplies.
- Cleaning, including shower and vanity wiping, table clearing and wiping.
- Golf shoes are taken to the shoe cleaning facility and, once cleaned, distributed to lockers.
- Cleaning and tidying the Grab & Go and Mixed Lounge areas.
- Cleaning and replenishing supplies in the hallway handicap/women's washroom.
- Organizing and stocking the women's staff locker & washroom.
- Cleaning and tidying the staff lunchroom and the staff patio lunch area.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Service orientation, comfortable helping customers with high expectations.
- Good communication skills - confident speaking with members, guests and colleagues.
- Problem solver - ability to understand and resolve issues.
- Serving-It-Right accreditation is necessary.
- Age 19+ for serving alcohol.
Transportation to our location is difficult. Employees need ample time if relying on public transit or their own vehicles.
