Khalsa School Calgary is seeking a Harmonium teacher (temporary, part-time).
The successful candidate...
* would be required to play and teach the Harmonium proficiently.
* should have sound knowledge of gurmat raagas and be able to prepare and teach shabads according to the students' level.
* should be able to communicate effectively with students and prepare them for upcoming Gurpurabs, Gurudwara performances and school assemblies.
* must also be able to work collaboratively and effectively with the Tabla teacher.
Khalsa School Calgary is a Sikh faith-based accredited funded private school with students from Kindergarten to Grade Nine. We follow the Alberta curriculum and our students also learn Punjabi, Tabla, and Harmonium.
