Good Karma is a new and premium used clothing store offering stylish, quality clothing, footwear, and accessories for women, men, and youth.
We're looking for friendly, reliable, fashion-minded people to join the Good Karma team!
This is a hands-on retail position. You'll assist customers, operate the till, keep the sales floor looking great, organize and merchandise clothing, and help with the day-to-day operation of the store.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Assist customers with finding clothing, sizes, styles, and products
- Operate the cash register and process purchases
- Keep clothing racks, displays, fitting rooms, and the sales floor clean and organized
- Restock and merchandise clothing throughout the store
- Receive and organize new inventory
- Sort and evaluate gently used clothing brought in by customers
- Help identify current styles, desirable brands, quality, and condition
- Tag, price, fold, hang, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
- Help maintain an attractive and inviting store environment
- Answer customer questions about our buying process, store credit, and merchandise
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Work collaboratively with the Good Karma team to keep the store running smoothly
We're Looking for Someone Who Is
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable talking with customers
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive and willing to learn
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Interested in clothing, fashion, brands, and current trends
- Comfortable sorting, organizing, and handling large amounts of clothing
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform regular retail tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting
- Available for a flexible retail schedule, which may include evenings and weekends
Retail or Fashion Experience
Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but not required. We're happy to train the right person.
Knowledge of popular clothing brands, fashion trends, resale, or second-hand clothing is also an asset.
