We offer online ADHD assessments with Nurse Practitioners, and Counselling sessions with Counsellors who specialize in a wide variety of niches. Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing ADHD assessments, ADHD diagnoses, treatment plan reports, and medication management services to patients in a virtual setting. We provide both child and adult assessments. NPs can choose to see children only, adults only, or both!

Duties:
- Conduct virtual ADHD assessments, review questionnaires, and make behavioural observations to confirm whether the patient has a diagnosis of ADHD
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, and write detailed ADHD assessment reports
- Determine whether medication is appropriate
- Manage and prescribe ADHD prescriptions as needed
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure comprehensive patient care (ie. counselling / coaching).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
Requirements:
- A Master’s level university degree in Nursing
- Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner and in good standing with the Provincial College.
- Maintain professional liability insurance coverage.
- Current liability insurance, current registration, and current business license, OR willing to obtain.
- Familiar with the DSM-5 criteria for ADHD, and other mental health conditions.
- Confident and comfortable with deferring medications when necessary.
- Willing to learn and adequately follow clinic policies.
- Qualified and comfortable with prescribing ADHD medications is necessary.
- Experience in a private practice is an asset. Experience in a start-up environment is a plus!- Experience performing ADHD assessments.
- Experience writing ADHD assessment reports is a MUST!
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
- Familiarity with case management principles.
- Comfortable working in an environment where changes may be made.
Part-time commitment is requested in the beginning, as we continue to build our patient panel. We are requesting a weekly minimum of 16 hours to start, but we are flexible!
