Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in HVAC systems, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The Senior HVAC Technician will also mentor junior technicians and contribute to the overall success of our service operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, hot water tanks, unit heaters and boilers.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functions.
- Perform plumbing tasks as needed in conjunction with HVAC services.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs or modifications of HVAC components.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
- Proficient in plumbing techniques and practices.
- Experience with welding processes related to HVAC repairs.
- Familiarity with boiler operation and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of appliance repair principles.
- Background in construction practices related to HVAC installation.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
