POSITION SUMMARY
The Construction Supervisor is an emerging project delivery leader responsible for managing execution across full construction scopes
This role represents a transition from crew supervision to integrated project oversight, requiring a strong grasp of construction planning, workforce coordination, and subcontractor execution. CS lead site execution in collaboration with project managers and are accountable for daily performance across safety, cost, quality, and schedule.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrated Field Execution Oversight
- Manage construction execution across all assigned scopes, including direct oversight of General foreman, subcontractors, and internal crews.
- Coordinate short-term and mid-range plans in alignment with project schedule, resource availability, and client expectations.
- Resolve field-level issues and support decision-making to keep execution aligned with project objectives.
Workforce & Resource Coordination
- Support labor planning and crew alignment in collaboration with project and site leadership.
- Ensure adequate resourcing of tools, materials, and equipment to maintain uninterrupted field operations.
- Monitor crew utilization, site staging, and productivity metrics.
Safety & Quality Management
- Ensure company safety management system and controls are implemented consistently across all work fronts.
- Support resolution of incidents, near misses, and field hazards.
- Uphold quality standards through inspection readiness, ITP execution, and documentation handoff in coordination with QA/QC personnel.
Schedule & Progress Integration
- Ensure compliance with ITPs, punch list resolution, and turnover documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams on redlines, materials verification, and installation reviews.
- Coach field leaders on quality standards, audit readiness, and documentation practices.
Client Interface & Field Representation
- Align field progress with project schedule targets by managing daily and weekly execution deliverables.
- Participate in look-ahead planning, milestone tracking, and recovery strategy development.
- Monitor production quantities, unit rates, for reporting.
- Team Leadership & Communication
- Lead and support all execution teams day-to-day delivery expectations.
- Provide performance feedback, ensure field teams are aligned, and support development of emerging leaders.
- Maintain open communication with PMs, engineers, procurement, and safety teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 12–15 years of experience in utility or infrastructure construction, with proven leadership over multi-discipline scopes.
- Must hold a Journeyman Powerline Technician (JPM/Lineman) certification.
- Experience transitioning from superintendent-level field leadership to broader site or project-level oversight.
- Strong understanding of construction execution, labor management, subcontractor coordination, and client interface.
- Working knowledge of schedule tracking, productivity measurement, and basic cost controls.
- Proficient in Procore, SAP, scheduling tools, and field reporting systems.
- Diploma or degree in construction, engineering technology, or related discipline preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and availability to work at remote or active project sites.
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
