The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Part-Time Server to lead our evening and weekend service. You’ll deliver confident, guest-focused hospitality while working closely with the bar and kitchen to keep the floor running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Greet, seat, and serve guests with accuracy and genuine hospitality
- Recommend menu items and pairings; handle cash/ POS with care
- Manage sections, time tickets, and coordinate with bar/BOH
- Verify IDs and follow all responsible service standards
- Maintain a clean, organized floor; support opening/closing checklists
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally; escalate when needed
Must-Haves
- Evening, late nights and weekend availability (required)
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- 1+ year serving/bartending in a busy pub or restaurant (or strong equivalent)
- Confident with POS, cash handling, and multi-table pacing
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented with clear communication
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of local beers, simple cocktails, and upselling techniques
- Experience with sections, reservations, and high-turnover service
- Familiarity with allergy protocols and responsible alcohol service best practices
