About the Role
Our client is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their growing national team in a fully remote capacity.
Candidates must have project experience in several of the following building typologies:
- Adaptive Reuse & Retrofits
- Automotive Facilities
- Cold Storage & Food Processing
- Distribution & Warehousing
- Industrial Multi Tenant Developments
- Manufacturing Facilities
- Master Planning Projects
- Office Buildings
- Retail Developments
- Technology Facilities
- Workplace Projects
- Data Centres, Aeronautical, or Transportation Facilities
Working closely with project teams across multiple offices, you will prepare construction documentation, coordinate consultants, develop Revit models, and contribute throughout all phases of project delivery. Although the role is 100% remote, ongoing collaboration through Microsoft Teams, video meetings, and digital communication is an integral part of the team's daily workflow, ensuring you remain fully connected with colleagues across the country.
As part of the firm's continued growth strategy, there are plans to establish a Vancouver office in the future. Once that office is operational, this position is expected to transition to a hybrid work arrangement, providing the opportunity to continue enjoying workplace flexibility while becoming part of a growing local team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed construction drawings and technical documentation using Revit

Develop permit, tender, and construction drawing packages

Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil consultants

Participate in ongoing project meetings through video collaboration

Assist with project coordination throughout all phases of design and construction

Review drawing packages for quality, accuracy, and technical completeness

Support contract administration activities as required

Collaborate closely with project managers and senior technical staff to successfully deliver projects across Canada
Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or Architecture

Approximately 5 to 8 years of professional Canadian experience

Strong proficiency in Revit

Experience producing construction documents for commercial and industrial buildings

Canadian project experience within several of the required industrial and commercial building typologies listed above

Demonstrated experience across multiple project phases, including design development, construction documentation, and contract administration

Strong consultant coordination and technical detailing abilities

Solid understanding of Canadian building codes, construction practices, and project delivery

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently while remaining highly engaged within a collaborative remote team environment
