Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Leader to oversee daily operations in our vibrant restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid background in food service and hospitality. As a Front of House Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise front-of-house team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee serving, and customer interactions to maintain high-quality service standards
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures accurately
- Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new staff members to build a strong team
- Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on food handling, hospitality, and customer service skills
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Assist in restaurant management tasks including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods to facilitate efficient food delivery and service flow
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership, and professional growth
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in food service or restaurant management
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars (Barista experience or hotel experience is a plus)
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service roles including serving, kitchen work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
Requirements
Must have a serve it right certificate. Should be able to Bartend when required.
