We are looking for a Junior Hydrogeologist / Geoscientist to join our Ontario Hydrogeology Team , based in our Ottawa office. In this role, you’ll support hydrogeological, environmental, and engineering investigations tied to land development, infrastructure, and resource projects — helping ensure sustainable water management solutions across the region.
- Support hydrogeological investigations for multidisciplinary land development, infrastructure, and environmental projects
- Compile, analyze, and interpret field and project data to support technical assessments
- Contribute to hydrogeological analyses, visualizations, and conceptual site models
- Collaborate closely with intermediate and senior hydrogeologists to deliver high‑quality technical services
- Prepare technical documentation, figures, and reports for clients and regulators
- Assist with proposal development and project planning activities
- Work both independently and within collaborative project teams under senior guidance
- Apply WSP and client health and safety procedures with a strong “safety‑first” mindset — if it involves water, you’ll be part of it
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental/Earth Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline, with hydrogeology specialization preferred
- Eligibility for registration in Ontario as a GIT, EIT, C.Tech., or CET
- Experience or academic exposure to hydrogeological fieldwork, including groundwater monitoring, pumping tests, and sample collection
- Familiarity with hydrogeological analysis tools such as AQTESOLV or similar software
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license , clean driver’s abstract, and access to a vehicle
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative consulting environment with a strong desire to learn and grow

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $54,200 – $72,000
