Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy E-commerce Administrator to manage our Shopify backend and provide vital administrative support. If you love organized spreadsheets, troubleshooting software, and are equally happy managing digital products and handling day-to-day administrative tasks, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify & Backend Operations:
- Product Configuration & Image Linking: Build, upload, and update Shopify product listings, meticulously managing variant setups and linking product images directly to choice menus.
- Customizer App Management: Maintain and configure backend Shopify apps, with a heavy focus on using product customizer tools to upload new items and configure the interactive choices that instantly update the product photo when a customer selects a specific option.
- Discount Code Management: Set up, launch, and manage discount codes, automatic discounts, and wholesale promotions within Shopify, ensuring dates and eligibility criteria are correctly configured.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Resolve minor storefront glitches and optimize backend configurations to ensure a smooth, error-free purchasing process.
- Visual Asset Management: Upload and organize jewelry product photography, ensuring the correct images and variants display accurately based on storefront selections.
Administrative Support:
- Customer Communication: Answer administrative or transactional queries regarding order statuses or shipping updates.
- General Office Administration: Handle daily administrative and clerical tasks to keep office and e-commerce workflows running smoothly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Shopify Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing the Shopify backend, listing products, and configuring apps.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy is required to handle custom jewelry specifications without making errors.
- Technical Comfort: Comfortable learning new software, troubleshooting Shopify apps, and organizing spreadsheets.
- Jewelry Familiarity (Plus): Previous experience working in jewelry, fashion, or custom manufacturing environments is a major asset.
- Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written English skills for internal teamwork and seamless, professional customer support.
- Adaptability: Ability to multi-task between digital tasks and administrative duties, staying organized during high-volume peak seasons.
