Position Overview
In accordance with the mission and values of the Hawkesbury General Hospital, the Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the work performed by environmental services employees. His or her main responsibilities are to ensure the smooth operation of the housekeeping department and the PCA's (porters). The ultimate goal is to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and HGH staff. The incumbent respects HGH policies and works in a safe manner, complying with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and reporting any danger to the health or safety of staff, patients and visitors.
REGULAR FULL-TIME POSITION
Current schedule: from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (changeable according to needs)

What we are looking for
- College diploma in a field related to hygiene and sanitation or employee supervision
- 3 years' experience in a similar position in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of PIDAC and/or MAPAQ is an asset
- Excellent employee management skills, demonstrating tact and professionalism.
