Context & Background

The mandate of the Global People team is to execute on the global business strategy through our collective Talent Strategy working together, and with our colleagues around the world, to deliver leading HR service to our global functions, regions, member firms and staff.

Global People is responsible for designing and delivering innovative solutions that focus on execution of our globally agreed strategic imperatives for People (Mobility, Culture, Digital HR, Talent Development and L&D). We will do this by being bold, innovative and role model collaborators who provide seamless service that is widely recognized as world class, both internally and in the market.

Role Summary

The Global People function has developed and supports a suite of global learning systems to support Member Firms. These include SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (GLMS), Kaltura Virtual Classroom and Video platform, Degreed, and other solutions.

GLMS is implemented in over 124 countries, with a user base of 177,000+ employees. Virtual Classroom is used by >120 countries, with more than 200,000 unique users accessing the tool each year. Degreed is implemented in 12 countries in process of implementation in 32 others, with more products in the pipeline.

The Manager – Learning Technology is a process SME role to support the ongoing review, development, deployment and use of effective Learning Management technologies that align with and enable KPMG’s Learning and Development Strategies.

What you will do:
Key Accountabilities:
Providing knowledge and expertise within the Global People team in regard to the selection, development, deployment and use of effective Learning technologies, inclusive LMS, Online Skills, Virtual Classroom delivery, Assessment, LRS systems.
Advising and supporting the Global Head of Learning and the Learning Council on technology solutions to inform and support the development of global strategies, policies and processes for the effective development of people across KPMG.
Translating business processes and requirements into appropriate technology solutions to enable and support the deployment and adoption of agreed global policies and processes.
Working closely with the Global Head of People Technology Support Services and ITSG to assure that the configuration and implementation of the GLMS, Virtual Classroom, and Degreed systems are and remain optimized to deliver efficient and effective learning management support that supports the Global L&D team, and meets individual country needs and requirements.
Complex stakeholder engagement & management across the network to promote awareness of Global Learning Technologies; and promote consistency of adoption and usage.
Assure compliance for Learning Technologies in regard to internal procurement policies; and required information security and data protection rules and regulations.

Learning Technologies advice & support

Provide knowledge and expertise within the Global People team in regard to the selection, development, deployment and use of effective learning technologies.

Stay abreast of market trends and solutions for learning systems and technology solutions. Build and maintain strong knowledge and expertise in the selection, development, and adoption of Learning Management technologies.
Contribute Learning Technology plans and insights into overall Digital HR strategies and plans
Build and maintain a strong relationship with SAP SuccessFactors product owners in order to assess future product developments; and to provide feedback and direction to SAP on KPMG requirements and needs.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with other relevant vendors including Degreed, and Kaltura Solutions to assure that we fully leverage product capabilities in service of KPMG needs, and maximize value.
Manage the delivery of support services to GLD and country teams in their effective take-up and usage of GLMS, VC, and Degreed tools

Process Owner & Learning Council engagement & support

Advise and support the Chief Learning Officer and Learning Council on technology solutions to inform and support the development of global strategies, plans and policies and processes to support global learning & development for KPMG.

Support the Chief Learning Officer and Learning Council to provide technology expertise to support the development, maintenance, and adoption of globally consistent and effective learning processes and systems
Development and maintenance of global process and system requirements & documentation in line with Learning Council direction and decisions.
Engagement with country teams to explain the global process and system, and how they can adopt this within their country
Working with country teams to support them in planning their adoption of global processes and systems, including changes to local process as needed
Reviewing country change requests and perform change impact assessment for consideration by the Learning Council.

Technology solutions

Translate business processes and requirements into appropriate technology solutions to enable and support the deployment and adoption of agreed global policies and processes.

Work closely with the Implementation Partner(s) and Support organization to ensure that documented requirements are properly configured, tested and deployed into production systems.
Deliver the required technical solutions to enable effective use and integration of learning technologies to support GLD and country requirements (e.g. integration of VC, Degreed and GLMS)
Working closely with SAP and other vendors to monitor future roadmap, assess and implement quarterly releases, and communicate these functional enhancements to global L&D and country teams

Stakeholder engagement

Strong consultation, engagement and collaboration across various global and local teams

Clear stakeholder engagement plans with clear accountability & responsibility for assuring the effective adoption and usage of global learning systems
Collaborating across the Global People team to ensure alignment on technology solutions to support the delivery of the people agenda
Leadership of global networks, maximizing virtual collaboration and country participation

Metrics / KPIs

Design and govern robust metrics/KPIs to measure the progress on the development & deployment of Performance Management technologies

Develop clear and measurable KPIs to determine adoption and usage of global learning technologies, and to use as a basis for continuous improvement in our systems and services
Engage relevant stakeholders in their accountability to deliver on these KPIs
Provide reports to the Head of Digital HR on the direction and status of these KPIs

Compliance & Risk

Adherence to KPMG risk management and policy requirements and assure compliance with all information security and data protection rules and regulations

What you bring to this role:
Technical Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge and experience of project methodologies and standards, in particular for development and implementation of Cloud technologies
Strong knowledge and experience in delivering LMS support services at regional/global level
Strong Business Analysis skills & experience
Strong knowledge and understanding of Learning Management processes & technologies
SAP SuccessFactors product knowledge, in particular Learning Management module
Strong communication (written and verbal), influencing and presentation skills
