Are you passionate about creating engaging, eye-catching content that resonates across social media platforms? We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Freelance Social Media Content Creator to join our team! In this role, you will craft compelling visual and written content that elevates brand presence, drives audience engagement, and supports our digital marketing strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for creative professionals eager to make a meaningful impact through innovative storytelling and strategic content development.
Duties
- Create and edit 10–15 high-quality Reels each month
- Attend one scheduled content shoot day per month at our Toronto and Mississauga studios
- Film Pilates classes, instructors, members, studio experiences, café products, events and behind-the-scenes content
- Develop strong content concepts, hooks, captions and calls to action
- Create content designed for reach, engagement, brand awareness and audience growth
- Post approved content consistently on Instagram and TikTok
- Cross-post and adapt content appropriately for each platform
- Create Instagram Stories throughout the month
- Identify relevant trends and proactively pitch content ideas
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar
- Ensure all content is delivered on time and follows the Panda Pilates brand aesthetic
- Review content performance and use the results to improve future content
Qualifications
- Must have an established and active social media presence
- Must provide links to personal or professional Instagram and TikTok accounts
- Must have previous experience creating social media content
- Must provide examples of content that has generated strong views, reach, engagement or follower growth
- Must have prior Pilates experience and genuinely understand Pilates culture
- Must know how to film fitness and movement content properly
- Must understand Instagram Reels and TikTok content strategy
- Must know how to create strong hooks and retain viewer attention
- Must be confident directing instructors, clients and talent during shoots
- Must have strong filming, editing and storytelling skills
- Must be proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable editing software
- Must understand lighting, camera angles, framing and audio
- Must be reliable, organized and able to meet deadlines without repeated follow-up
- Must have access to a high-quality smartphone or camera and basic filming equipment
- Must be able to travel to both the Toronto and Mississauga studios for scheduled shoot days
