Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers with precision and care.
- Operate the Micros POS system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Uphold food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
